VINTAGE TUSCAN ~ № D1489 FERN LEAF ~ TEACUP & SAUCER
DESCRIPTION
– Teacup & saucer is scalloped bone china.  Pattern is № D1489.  Motif is magenta & green fern type leaves outlined in gray on a pastel blue rim band, gray stem & smaller foliage with gold trim & accents.  The footed teacup holds approximately 6 ounces & has a “loop with kick” handle.
DIMENSIONS

Teacup is approximately 3” tall, 3 ½” rim diameter.  Saucer rim diameter is approximately 5 ½”.
CONDITION
– Teacup & saucer previously owned with no obvious crazing, cracks or chips.  Gold trim slightly worn.
BRAND
– Tuscan pattern № D1489 is discontinued.  Tuscan green backstamp used from 1947 until 1961/1966.  Teacup & saucer made in England.
